There was no Digest yesterday whilst your editor was in pursuit of the new Opposition’s search for assistance from the courts as regards the legality of the new Government moves through its new Speaker to dis-allow the move of the new Opposition to have voted a motion of no confidence in the new Government.
The cases of the nine new ministers charged with bribery offences and offences under the Leadership Code and the seven other MPs (now all on the new Government side) are due to be heard in court, too, next Tuesday.
And yes, the new Speaker does represent Santo as distinct from Malekula as the Digest reported Tuesday.
The attempts to establish court hearings as regards the parliamentary crisis continue today after which the news missed by the Digest during the last 2 days will be summarized.
