The last New Hebrideans launch flyer

A new documentary series, The Last New Hebrideans: Voice of the Voiceless, about the daily lives of the people who live in the interior of southern Espiritu Santo, launches tonight in Port Vila.

Featured previously here on Vanuatu Daily Digest, the 10-episode documentary was filmed and documented by ni-Vanuatu production company Island Sun pictures with funding from the Pacific Media Assistance Scheme (PACMAS).

The launch will take place at 6pm tonight in the reading room of the National Library.

DVDs of the documentary will available for purchase at the launch, and money raised will be used to buy water tanks and pipes to supply water to the villages featured in the documentary.

Come and support local filmmaking!
