Vanuatu beach volleyball’s Linline and Miller star in new film about Rio Olympics

Vanuatu’s homegrown sports stars, beach volleyballers Linline Matauatu and Miller Pata, appear in a new documentary short film, A Fighting Chance, premiering on at the prestigious South by Southwest festival (SXSW) in Austin, Texas, USA. The film follows athletes from three developing countries as they prepare for the 2016 Rio Olympics.

Vanuatu’s beach volleyball team will compete in the Asian Senior Beach Volleyball Championships in Sydney, Australia over Easter.

The sun shone for Vanuatu Independence Day in Britain and many old friendships were resumed at a barbecue organised by Gordon and Pat as British Friends of Vanuatu adopted Vanuatu’s 2012 Olympic team.
